If you want to set your GPS160 NMEA2000 as the main GPS source, you will need to change the DIP switches inside the iKonvert unit to “GPS Mode”.
This is the switch configuration:

Then power cycle the iKonvert – unplug from NMEA 2000 network, wait 2-3 secs and then plug the iKonvert back in.
Assuming that the GPS160 is in the default mode, the Green Power LED of the GPS160 will be ON and the N2K and N0183 LEDs should be flashing.
In this mode, the iKonvert identifies itself as a GNSS Sensor on the NMEA 2000 network and the chartplotter should accept it as a good position source.
