You can connect an external 12/24V alarm buzzer relay to your AIT6000 for local, chartplotter-independent AIS warnings.
We have also enabled the Light Blue (Turquoise) wire to detect a push button. If it detects that the button is pushed, the AIT6000 will stop sounding the buzzer output and it can also be used to silence the NMEA 2000 Alerts.
Here’s how to connect an external alarm relay to your AIT6000. The buzzer current has to be less than 350mA (0.35A):
